What would Jenny do?

In essence, everything was helpful! Jenny, you have become some kind of secret word or trigger for us - “What would Jenny do?”. Introducing your 3 breaths before big meetings, coaching each other to “channel jenny” when entering into a stressful situation etc etc. So your effect is long lasting.

Immensely approachable

Jenny was immensely approachable and a great listener, and made the cohort feel welcome to share ideas and feelings. She managed time well and I think we all looked forward to each session as a chance to reflect on ourselves and our behaviour to others and how we can make changes for the good of everyone.

Insightful material

Jenny was a great facilitator - material covered was insightful and delivered well.

Pause for reflection

The program has impelled me to resume some self-improvement and have a renewed dialogue with myself about confidence and how I might be stopping myself from improving, and to give myself credit for things that go well.

Jenny understands

Jenny was a great presenter. Her calm tone and manner really puts you at ease from the beginning. I am always skeptical of others if I think they do not truly understand the work they are presenting but Jenny definitely does.

Has given hope

The way the course was run with lots of input from colleagues from all levels of the business has given a broader view of how we all cope with work and life. And then to have Jenny facilitate the discussions has given hope in what I’m doing to deal with stress is right on track.

There is so much passion for what Jenny does and you know she enjoys it. It was amazing.

Very welcome

The program’s timing coincided with an an extremely stressful period of time for me - both on a work and personal front. The sessions allowed me some weekly time out to focus on me and on getting tips and tools to help tackle the stress and difficulties. This was very welcome.

Planted seeds

Really planted seeds in my mind, with a few key takeaways that I carry with me. The big one, as a worrier and overthinker, was to not stress about things that haven’t happened/may not happen or that are outside of my control. Acknowledging my own feelings, and why, before reacting - pause.

Really powerful

I learnt about the levels of control/circles of power - not wasting time stressing about things that could be/or are out of your control - you hold the power - that was really powerful for me.

Great strategies for resilience

This program has provided me with some great strategies for developing mental resilience - especially at this time which has been super hard going through a prolonged and stressful lockdown period in Sydney.

The program has really inspired me to get into a regular mindfulness practice habit which I have noticed helps me sleep better as well as feel calmer & able to make more rational decisions when dealing with challenges.

I really appreciated the resources such as the Potential app, note cards that were sent in the mail, as well as the content in Jenny’s presentations & have really tried to implement a few in my daily life in order to make a difference & especially make this difficult time more bearable.
